Me--- Blogging! How funny. I have a very clear memory of (not so long ago) driving in the car with my hubby and asking him, "what is blogging anyway?" There was a billboard about blogging. His answer was that is was something you did on the computer to talk with other people. Not much else was said, and we continued on our way.
I like things simple. And I am realizing that although in some ways I don't feel my age, in other ways I am so old! I am slow to jump on the new opportunities in life. I just recently got an ipod. It is like a new world with all my music right there with me anywhere I want to go. Downloading music from the itunes store without ever leaving my house. Why did I wait so long??? Digital camera's- imagine that I wasn't sure if I would ever use it? And Cd's -- don't you just love not having to rewind those cassette tapes!! DVD's instead of VHS- what an idea. But, what did they do with all those VHS's??? Imagine the dumpsters at the video stores! Cell phones-- How did we ever send our hubby to the grocery store when they could not call us and ask us the details of what we wanted? "Is it the one with the blue label??"
Back to blogging- Time moves all too quickly and memories fade with time. Since I have the opportunity to experience my grandkids 5 days a week, I also have the opportunity to experience the "things kids say". I am looking forward to blogging them and creating a memory opportunity for them.
And- if I ever find out what twittering is I might do that too!
